The goal is to gather as much information as possible on a person for pre employment screening or criminal investigation. A colleague of mine has asked a question that has come up before. Although I have explained to him there is no such thing as a full nationwide background check. It seems that there is an investigator in the Midwest who is offering one for $10 per name. The investigator claims this is a complete nationwide criminal and civil background check. My colleague explained that he will need to supply his name, DOB and SSN, no fingerprints. Additionally, it is my colleague's understanding that this investigator is utilizing a database that is connected to a national missing and exploited children's database. Does anyone know what this might be or how it is possible? This screening level? All responses and feedback are certainly welcome and may be shared with the corporation who is wanting the background work done. P.I.'s and police and law enforcement can gather more evidence and full information on a suspected offender using such a nationwide info source if it exists. Thank you.
